Join Hobbies & Froglife at Hampton Nature Reserve

We have some great events coming up on the Nature Reserve just outside the Peterborough. With the sighting of a young Hobby at the Reserve this week, the air heaving with dragonflies, not to mention the amphibians and reptiles that thrive on the site, this is a great time of year to visit.

Hampton Nature Reserve Volunteer and Froglife Trustee Frank Clark was thrilled to spot a pair of the birds of prey on the site during one of his morning visits. He was even lucky enough to get close enough to a newly fledged Hobby to take a great photo. The birds are breeding on the site, which is really exciting news.

Hampton Nature Reserve is not open to the public, but you can join us on one of our special walks. The upcoming dates are:

• Tuesday 19th June - An Evening Stroll suitable for families looking for wildlife such as hares, deer and birds enjoying the summer evening
• Saturday 30th June – A Reptile Safari where we will be exploring the site and looking for some of the native reptiles that call Hampton home

The walks are free, but we do ask you to book beforehand. Please get in touch with Rebecca to book your place – Rebecca.neal@froglife.org or 07772 318961
